Dog Walking (Regular or Occasional)

Whether required on a regular or occasional basis, I provide a quality, reliable dog walking service at times to suit you.

As well as my professional nursing experience, I have also been a very privileged owner of dogs for 26 years – so have a good understanding of dog behaviour & needs.

Depending on your individual requirements and your dog’s health & sociability I like to, wherever possible, walk them with a/other suitable canine companion(s). I will collect your dog(s) from your home & take them for a quality, stimulating, enjoyable walk in a local desirable dog friendly location. I am more than happy to walk them off lead with your permission and at my discretion, to enable them to get the maximum benefit from their walk in terms of exercise & socialisation.

My walks/visits can always be tailored to suit individual requirements, for example in the cases of geriatric or antisocial dogs.

Maybe there are occasions when, rather than a full walk, you only require a home visit to let your dog out in to the garden for a “comfort” break and to feed them a meal, I happily provide this service – please contact me to discuss your needs.

Puppy visits

I provide one-to-one puppy visits where, in the early stages, time is spent with your puppy in your home/garden, progressing on to short lead walks during the visit time where I can continue to support & build on the training you have set in place.

Eventually, as your puppy matures, I can gradually introduce them to longer walks with a suitably matched canine friend to further build on their socialisation skills (and, of course, provide some extra fun!). Due to the one-to-one care involved, availability is limited for this service & demand is very high – please contact me for current availability.

Daily Cat Visits

Having grown up with, owned & cared for cats all of my life, I know that they are almost always happier when in their own home/environment.

I provide a desirable alternative to boarding your cat in a cattery or having to impose on neighbours/friends to look after them while you’re away on holiday.

I will visit them daily in your home to tend to their every possible need, enabling them to remain in their usual routine & so keeping stress & anxiety to an absolute minimum when you can’t be at home with them.

If your cat is receiving any prescribed veterinary treatment, I am able to continue with the competent administration of any medication during your absence.

Benefits of daily home visits also provide home security while you’re away & I will routinely provide the following additional services when visiting & caring for your pets, with the utmost respect to your home/property:

• Take any post/deliveries in
• Put rubbish/recycling bins out for collection
• Water any outdoor/indoor plants
• Pull curtains/blinds if required

All providing your home with a “lived in” look during your absence.

Daily Small Pet Visits

I provide home visits to care for all small pets while you’re away on holiday.

Daily visits to provide fresh food, water & thorough cleaning of their accommodation help to ensure that your pets remain in good health during your absence.

Qualified Nursing Care at Home

If your pet has recently undergone surgery or is receiving specialist veterinary treatment when you need to be away, you can rest assured that with my professional experience in veterinary nursing, competent administration of prescribed medication and care of patients post-operatively are services I can offer that other similar pet care organisations cannot.
